Yeah, I know that I’m an impossibly busy person (sorry about that), but I also know that I long to hear from you.

And truth be told, I probably started responding to your email and then had to change a poopy diaper or got lost in a stack of ungrading papers. So, once again, repeatedly emailing me is very, very okay.
